1) A person is permitted to make du'a:

1. only at specified times.
2. at any time.
3. only at the preferred times when du'a is more likely to be accepted.
4. only after performing the prayer.

2) A friend of yours buys a lottery ticket and informs you of how he made ‘du'a’ earnestly to Allah to help him win the lottery.  You would respond by:

1. encouraging him further to make regular supplication to Allah until he wins the lottery.
2. discouraging him to earn through impermissible means and encouraging him pray to Allah to provide him through permissible means only.
3. encouraging him to have strong faith in Allah as Allah is Merciful and answers all supplication regardless of what is asked for.
4. discouraging him from making supplication to Allah as winning the lottery is merely based on whether a person is lucky or not.

3) Whilst making du'a, Allah should be addressed with:

1. His names mentioned either in the Quran or Sunnah.
2. His names mentioned only in the Quran.
3. His names mentioned only in the Sunnah.
4. A person may address Allah with any name he likes as long as it personifies the Greatness of Allah, such as the 'Big Boss' and 'Big Guy'.

4) According to Prophet Muhammad, the first ten days of which month are regarded as a preferred time in which to make du'a?

1. Ramadan.
2. Muharram.
3. Safar.
4. Dhul Hijjah.

5) Du'a can only be made against:

1. one's own family.
2. one's own self.
3. one's own self and family.

6) Du'a is more likely to be accepted if it is made:

1. in the last third of the night.
2. in the first part of the night.
